 Looking ahead the Wharfedale Festival 2012 will be held over the week of 12th to 19th May 2012 whilst the dates for 2013 are 11th to 18th May 2013.

The 4th Denis Sharp Bursary Concert |
 The fourth Denis Sharp Bursary Concert was held on Friday 9th March at Christchurch at 7.15 pm? Starring were the Clifton and Lightcliffe Brass Band and, among many others, the four Music and Speech &
Drama Bursary winners from the 2011 Wharfedale Festival - namely, Edward
Deakins, (EYSM), Victoria Daramy-Williams, (Junior EYSM, music),
Victoria Brown (EYSM, Speech & Drama) and Hannah Kilcoyne, (Speech
& Drama, Scunthorpe Musical Festival Summer School at Lincoln.)
Baritone John Cunningham will be among the professional singers performing. Mark Wilkinson will be the Accompanist.

Miss Dance of Great Britain 2012 |
 We are delighted to inform you that we have once again been awarded an IDTA 'Miss Dance of Great Britain Heat'. Miss Dance of Great Britain is a national competition in Theatre Dance.The competition is for dancers of 16 years & over. This heat will be held as part of the Wharfedale Festival of Performing Arts 2012 Dance Championship on Sunday 6th November 2012.
The winner of the heat goes through to the finals in Blackpool in June 2013.
The winner of the finals in Blackpool receives a prize of £1,000, 2nd £500, 3rd £300 and the remaining finalists each receive £100.
